Students at Kempsville can now benefit from new Microsoft apps for Apple: Word, PowerPoint & Excel. They are easy to use, super convenient for school students to do homework, and uploads to Edmodo or email are super speedy. The Microsoft Office Word App allows you to create and edit documents as if you were on a computer, all from your iPhone or iPod. The app has Dropbox support, allowing you to use the dropbox app with your document saving. The PowerPoint edition allows you to create presentations and edit them as well.

The core experience is free. Excel lets you create spreadsheets and customize charts. All of the apps come with tools for font changes, highlighting, bold and italic print, bulleting, numbering, line spacing, text centering, almost all the features of full Microsoft products. This app would be great for all students to use for homework and writing assignments.

“Definitely useful! It’s good to have it right in your hand,” says Magistra Elizabeth Tuttle, a Latin teacher.

“I can’t believe you can do all that on your phone,” said Mr. Gabe Wetmore, a history teacher.

“I would definitely recommend that especially as a support teacher to help students complete assignments from any class,” said Mrs. Kathy Hallowes, a special education teacher.

Download the apps today for free, and let us know how they work for you.
