Young team; new coach; successful start

The Kempsville baseball team is showing an impressive display of talent and teamwork this Spring season. Coach Sutton’s first year at Kempsville has gone well so far, as the team holds a remarkable record of 5-2 in the conference. After their next game they will await the results of the rest of the conference; as of right now the competition is extremely high with several teams tied for multiple positions.

Kempsville has been able to put on such a good showing by working together as a cohesive unit. “When we play as a team and play the way we are capable of we have all of the confidence in the world” said senior Reid Hasher. It is obvious that these boys are devoted to each other and to moving ahead of the other schools. They work together extremely well at home and on the road. Even with their impressive record, this is a fairly young team. This year appears to be a growing season for even better performances next year.
